June Farms is a charming, small farm located on 120 acres in New York’s beautiful Hudson Valley. We specialize in working with “heritage breeds”, traditional livestock breeds that were raised by our ancestors centuries ago. All of our animals are pasture raised, they have access to plenty of fresh grass, and they are treated with love and respect.
In addition to our livestock program, we also offer lodging in our beautiful cabins, giving you the opportunity to see how wonderful it is to live & work on a small farm.
If interested, we can teach you how to work with Shire Horses, rotate cattle on pasture, or simply enjoy the company and the positive energy that comes with being surrounded by fresh air and healthy, happy animals.
June Farms is also available for your wedding, private party or company retreat. We feel that you will fall in love with the charm & tranquility of the land, barns and animals at our farm, and we are confident you will have the experience of a lifetime.
Do NOT put the address into your car GPS… only use your smart phone. Automobile GPS’s will take you to the wrong part of Parker Road!
When visiting June Farms, please note that our driveway can be tricky to find, especially in the dark. Parker Road has no street lights, and the driveway is very discreet. You will NOT be able to see the farm from the road because it is heavily wooded.
Typically, GPS takes you down Higgins Road or Old Best Road. When you eventually turn onto Parker Road, our farm driveway is THE FIRST DRIVEWAY ON THE RIGHT. You will see the sign & gate below at the entrance of the driveway.
Also, GPS will sometimes “drop you off” before the actual driveway. The driveway is 1/4 mile on the right once you drive onto Parker Rd.
Follow the farm road all the way to the left, and up the tree lined driveway.
It is also important to note that Higgins Road TURNS INTO Parker Road, when you go through Best Road or Old Best Road.
