An event every day that begins at 11:00am, repeating until May 8, 2020
YES… the walks are still happening. We will post something should we need to discontinue them.
June Farms is a charming, small farm located on 120 acres in New York’s beautiful Hudson Valley. We specialize in working with “heritage breeds”, traditional livestock breeds that were raised by our ancestors centuries ago. All of our animals are pasture raised, they have access to plenty of fresh grass, and they are treated with love and respect.
We recently have had to cancel most of our upcoming parties and events. The good news is that it opens up the farm for families and friends to come walk around the farm, get some fresh air, stretch your legs, and see our happy farm animals. We can all use a little bit of joy in our lives at the moment, and our cows, horses, pigs, chickens, ducks, and goats can really help with that.
We are limiting our admission to only a handful of cars per day, in order to keep the experience as positive as possible for all of us. One ticket is good for one car. You do not need to list the total number of people in your car.
We understand that times are tough for all of us, because of this, we have decided not to charge our usual admission and instead ask that you consider a donation to the farm to help us with our continuing farm costs. If you cannot give at this time, that is no problem at all. HOWEVER… YOU WILL NEED TO DONATE AT LEAST $1.00 FOR IT TO CHECKOUT CORRECTLY. (Thank you so much, in advance 🙂
Signing up for a farm walk allows you to show up at June Farms at any point (during 11am – 6pm) and enjoy a walk around the farm. At certain times we will have some food and beverages, for you to take on your walk. We do not have a set scheudle as to when that will be as there are a lot of variables at the moment regarding weather conditions.
We hope you will join us for a walk at June Farms!
p.s. YES, you can bring your dog on a leash.
